Get Chestnut seeds for planting. Hand foraged by me from 2 Chinese Chestnut hybrid trees, which were originally planted from seed from Chestnut Charlie’s Tree Crops in NE Kansas. (see the picture of the tree)
Chinese chestnuts (Castanea mollissima). Locally foraged in NE KS and untreated.

Grow in sand until sprouted, transfer to pots for the first year, then transplant to field.
