I love hazelnuts. I use them in my food forest as a shrub in an apple guild, to fill spaces in a line of trees in mound along a swale, and a a hedge along the fence.
For Fall orders, will ship in late September (Oct for Southern states).
Fall tree orders are containerized trees (in pots). They are priced according to the pot size. 1 gallon equivalent pot size.
They are removed from the pots just prior to shipping. Can also be ordered for local pickup.
Spring orders will ship bare root during dormancy.
Note: You need at least two hazelnut trees to ensure that they will produce nuts. You need to plant them fairly close together to get the best pollination.
