Comfrey Crown.
Comfrey is like a wonder plant for fertility. Good for companion planting around trees. I companion plant comfrey around apple and chestnut trees.
Nice purple flowers for pollinators. Some people use comfrey to supplement animal feed.
Comfrey Crown is the core of the root ball. This can even be separated and grown into two plants. I have in the past split a crown like this in half and have grown two plants from it.

This variety is the typical Bocking variety, which is sterile. (Not guaranteed sterile, but likely)

Note: Only plant this where you want it permanently. Comfrey is very hard to get rid of and you will have a hard time digging it out completely – seems like there is always a root piece that will come back.
